Denver Police issue warrant for grandmother of child left alone at Civic Center Park on July 4

Denver courts issued a warrant on Tuesday for Denver resident Brenda Littlespottedhorse, for a municipal level infraction involving “wrongs to minors.” Brenda Littlespottedhorse is the grandmother of the two or three year old girl who was found left alone in a stroller in Civic Center Park on July 4th, after the fireworks show. Denver Human Services took care of the girl until her mother or guardian was located. A family friend identified the girl after she was shown on television and she reported to her mother that her daughter was in Denver Human Services custody. The mother of the missing girl is from South Dakota and the girl has now be reunited with her mother in South Dakota.
