On July 22, 2015, motorists in a regular two-axle vehicle will pay an express lane toll of $7.65 (with a CDOT tag) each way during peak hours when traveling on Highway 36 from I-25 to Broomfield. During off-peak hours and weekends the toll will be reduced to $1.25 each way. Phase 2 of the Highway 36 expansion project leading from Louisville to Boulder will open in 2016. Phase 2 will likely be its own toll separate from this toll. The diagrams below help show more information. For the official CDOT announcement and information, click here.
